Passing of Prof. Esther Starobinski-Safran (1938-2023)

The JNDF Editorial Board has noted with great sadness the passing of its long-time member Prof. Esther Starobinski-Safran (1938-2023). Esther Starobinski-Safran was an honorary professor in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Geneva and a renowned authority on ancient philosophy, especially Jewish Hellenistic philosophy. We remember the deceased with gratitude and offer our deepest sympathy to her family.
